During the meeting, Dr. Khan presented APUB’s vision of developing Bangladesh’s private universities into centres of world-class skills, research, innovation, startups, emerging technologies, patents, and employment. He emphasised the need for universities to contribute more directly to national economic development by connecting education with research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry.
Dr. Khan expressed his gratitude to the Honourable President for his valuable time, guidance, encouragement, and assurance of support.
He also highlighted that the goal of higher education should extend beyond producing graduates. Universities should help develop skilled professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and practical solutions that contribute meaningfully to the progress of Bangladesh.
