The foundation stone of the permanent campus of Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) was laid at Green Model Town, Manda, Dhaka, marking an important milestone in the institution's continued growth and development.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah, Vice Chancellor of National University, as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Daffodil Group.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sabur Khan highlighted the significant role of National University in expanding access to higher education across Bangladesh. He emphasized that alongside academic excellence, students must develop practical skills to remain competitive in both local and international job markets.

The event was also attended by Professor Dr. Md. Al Amin, Chairman of the Governing Body of DIIT; Dr. Md. Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer of Daffodil Group; Professor Dr. Md. Mostafa Kamal, Adviser to DIIT; and Professor Dr. Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Principal of DIIT.

The upcoming permanent campus will provide modern academic facilities designed to support teaching, learning, research, and student development. The initiative reflects DIIT's long-term commitment to delivering industry-oriented education and creating an environment that prepares graduates for the evolving demands of the workforce.
