Daffodil International University (DIU) recently welcomed Mr. Tadej Slapnik, a distinguished Slovenian technology entrepreneur, former Member of Parliament of Slovenia, and former Secretary of State at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia.

During his visit to the DIU campus at Daffodil Smart City, Mr. Slapnik met with Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of DIU, along with the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, senior academic leaders, and university officials. The meeting focused on innovation, digital transformation, social entrepreneurship, blockchain technology, and opportunities for international collaboration in higher education.

Accompanied by Mr. Alex Wang, Secretary-General of Youthink Center, China, Mr. Slapnik also toured the campus and explored DIU’s innovation-driven ecosystem, modern facilities, and initiatives aimed at nurturing future-ready graduates.

The visit reflects DIU’s continued commitment to strengthening global partnerships and promoting knowledge exchange, innovation, and sustainable development through international cooperation.
